Sensory Story Time: Animals

Join us for the first Sensory Story Time on Saturday, September 21 at 10:30 am.  This program of interactive songs and stories about animals will allow for movement and accommodate varying needs.  There will be a time for sensory play at the end.  All children and all abilities are welcome to participate.  No registration necessary.  Contact the library with questions: office@phillipsfreelibrary.org

 

Computer Classes for Adults

Adults, it's your turn to go back to school!  We will be hosting computer classes taught by staff from point broadband.  You can take a class in basic computer skills on September 25 OR October 9 at 10:30 am. You can also take a class to learn how to stream a tv show, learn about internet safety, and how to recognize a scam on October 2 OR October 23 at 10:30 am.  Bring your own laptop or borrow one of ours.  Please register: office@phillipsfreelibrary.org

Points of View Book Club

The Points of View Book Club meets at Phillips Free Library on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.  The book club is for adults to discuss novels centered on characters with diverse cultures, ethnicities and life experiences.  The group will meet on September 24 to discuss Afterlife by Julia Alvarez.  Email ashley@phillipsfreelibrary.org to register or with book club questions.

Knee High Story Time

Knee High Story Time meets on Wednesdays at 9 am.  This time for toddler and preschool children with their caregivers includes stories, songs, rhymes and an optional craft at the end of the program.  The themes are 9/11: Farms, 9/18: From My Head to My Toes, 9/25: Fall.  No registration necessary.  For questions email office@phillipsfreelibrary.org

K-2 Library Zoo

K-2 Library Zoo meets on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:15 pm.  Each week of the month is a different program: LEGO Club, Story Time, Science Club and Book Club.  Attend for all of the programs or the programs that interest you.  No registration necessary (please plan to fill out emergency contact information on the first day).  For questions email: office@phillipsfreelibrary.org
